At LPS our green objectives are simple:-

• We strive to be environmentally aware and proactive in seeking to limit our impact on the environment by:
• Replacing environmentally unfriendly equipment,
• Implementing environmentally sound production methods,
• Using environmentally sound products and
• Producing print products that meet the requirements of our environmentally aware clients.

In fact, LPS does not just strive to be environmentally aware, we are!
LPS has already made big inroads to achieving our Green Goals.

Environmental Facts about LPS

• LPS has replaced industry standard equipment and processes with state-of-the-art equipment and processes reducing waste and redundancy.
• Multiple energy hungry machines have been replaced by fewer energy efficient machines.
• We have achieved 96% reduction in processing-chemical waste by moving to the latest processes.
• Constant flow water flushing systems have been replaced by small reticulation systems saving many thousands of litres annually.
• LPS has minimised landfill waste and diverts over 90% of waste to recycling.
• We have replaced old film and plate processes and now use only 100% recyclable aluminium plates.
• We have replaced mineral based printing inks with environmentally friendly
  soya-based inks.
• LPS has introduced a wholly electronic pre-press workflow system utilising the latest CTP (computer to plate) technology.
• LPS proudly guides clients in the use of recycled paper stocks and the new 'carbon neutral' paper products.
• LPS has the skill and experience to guide you through efficient print planning and production.
